This painting is such a little beauty! It is 7.5"x9" oils on oak panel framed in a deep copper-gold frame.

I saw this scene riding the motorcycle with Massimo out the Appian Way which was the first road built out of Rome to the south and is still littered with ruins and sculpture of its historic past. You know the saying "All roads lead to Rome"... it came from the building of the Appian Way!
